Technologist
Location: Jawczyce, Poland
- Responsibilities:
- Technology Development:
- Implementation of project activities in accordance with the product development process
- Management of technical projects from concept to implementation
- Planning and coordination of project work in the field of new products
- Monitoring project progress and reporting to management
- Product Development:
- Optimization of coloring and modifying concentrate formulations in terms of properties and costs
- Testing new raw materials and additives
- Monitoring technological trends in the industry
- Support in product certification processes
- Technical Documentation Management:
- Preparation and updating of technical documentation (TDS, MSDS)
- Development of product specifications in cooperation with supplier
- Supervision over the currency of supplier quality documents and their archiving
- Systematization of technical knowledge about products
- Team Collaboration:
- Supporting the sales department in product selection and recommendations
- Cooperation with production, procurement and R&D departments
- Handling complaints and analyzing non-conformities
- Participation in technical audits of suppliers
- Quality Control and Laboratory Testing:
- ndependent performance of advanced laboratory tests
- Processing tests on laboratory extruder and calendar (production of test details and films)
- Measurement of key parameters: MFI, density, moisture, active substance content
- Instrumental analysis: pyrolysis, TGA, color measurements (Lab*), optical and mechanical properties
- Supervision and verification of product quality parameters and responding to deviations
- Requirements:
- Education and Experience:
- Higher technical education (chemistry, chemical technology, materials engineering)
- Min. 3-5 years of experience in the polymer industry, preferably concentrates/additives
- Experience in project activities and technology project management
- Practical knowledge of plastic processing processes
- Technical Competencies:
- Knowledge of polymer laboratory testing methods (coloring and modifying concentrates welcomed)
- Experience working with laboratory extruders
- Knowledge of analytical techniques (TGA, DSC, spectroscopy)
- Ability to interpret test results and prepare reports
- Skills in planning and implementing technological projects
- Soft Skills:
- Accuracy and meticulousness at work
- Ability to work in a team and communicate with various departments
- Proactivity and willingness to develop
- Knowledge of English (min. B2)
- Organizational and project management skills
