Fakuma 2026:

 More from Your Material, Without More Compromise

The BEDEKO squad at Fakuma 2026

How can you get more from your material without adding risk to product quality, process stability or cost?

That question was at the heart of BEDEKO’s presence at Fakuma 2026. Over five days in Friedrichshafen, visitors could see selected solutions in live demonstrations, compare material samples and discuss the technical, commercial and supply requirements behind their projects with our team.

The response at our booth was strong throughout the fair. Visitors came to take a closer look at the new BEDEKO REVITA additive, ask about our established portfolio and discuss everything from highly specialised applications to everyday production and supply needs.

Live demonstrations: seeing the material and the result

The live demonstrations were a central part of our stand.
They gave visitors a chance to look at the material, compare samples and discuss the data behind them. This helped move conversations quickly from a general product question to the material, process or application in front of us.
  • Odour neutralisation – chemically binding unwanted odour rather than simply masking it;
  • Mechanical performance – restoring tear resistance and elongation, with improved dart impact strength;
  • Production stability – helping reduce defects and production losses by preventing burnt-polymer inclusions and stabilising the film-blowing bubble;
  • Material life – maintaining high OIT parameters through recycling and reprocessing.
For a technically demanding question, seeing the material and result in person is often the quickest way to get to the details that matter.

BEDEKO REVITA: a multifunctional approach to recycled material

Fakuma was the first opportunity for many visitors to explore BEDEKO REVITA in person.
REVITA is a customisable multifunctional additive for recycled PE and PP. Its full four-function formulation is a starting point, not a fixed recipe. Depending on the material, application and production requirements, the functions can be selected and tailored around what needs to improve.
The aim is to support the use of a higher proportion of lower-cost recyclate while maintaining the properties required by the finished product.
Depending on the formulation, recyclate content and component prices, this can enable raw-material savings of up to 20%.

Strong interest across the BEDEKO portfolio

While BEDEKO REVITA and the live demonstrations drew many visitors to our booth, we were equally pleased by the interest in the wider BEDEKO portfolio.

From functional additives and colour masterbatches to calcium carbonate solutions, visitors wanted to learn more about both our newest developments and the products they already know and use in their day-to-day production.
This response reflects the breadth of the BEDEKO offer and the trust we have built with recyclers, compounders and plastics processors across different applications and markets.

Our calcium carbonate portfolio, supported by BEDEKO Vietnam Production, was also an important part of the conversations with European customers looking for reliable, scalable supply.

A genuinely international week

Fakuma once again showed how international the plastics-processing industry is.

We were particularly pleased to welcome visitors from Germany 🇩🇪 and Austria 🇦🇹, alongside customers and partners from Poland 🇵🇱 and the Netherlands 🇳🇱. We also met industry professionals from across Central and Eastern Europe, including Czechia 🇨🇿, Slovakia 🇸🇰, Hungary 🇭🇺, Lithuania 🇱🇹, Latvia 🇱🇻, Estonia 🇪🇪 and Serbia 🇷🇸, as well as from Italy 🇮🇹, Turkey 🇹🇷, the UK 🇬🇧 and further afield.

The markets, applications and material streams may differ. The expectation remains the same: a solution needs to perform, make business sense and be available when it is needed.
